Is the scientific relevance of your research clearly stated?
Is the manuscript written in good, understandable English and was it revised by someone with knowledge of scientific writing in English?
Abstract
  • The Abstract has a maximum of 250 words and provides the Objectives, Methods and most important Results of the research in one single paragraph.

  • After a brief description of the Results, the Abstract should state what is new about this research and its importance.

  • The abstract is understandable and interests the reader to access the complete article.

  • Statistically significant data are reported in numerical form (i.e. mean ± SEM or SD).

  • Abbreviations should be avoided but, if necessary, all abbreviations must be defined in both the Abstract and the text. Remember, the Abstract is published separately by PubMed and other indexing services.

The text is coherent and is uniform in citation of abbreviations from the Abstract to the Discussion.
The Results that are reported in the Tables are the same as those cited in the Abstract and the text.
Tables are presented in Word or Excel so that they may be edited for publication.
References are numbered in order of citation in the text.
References are in the norms of the Journal.
The author has carefully verified that all references in the final reference list are cited in the text.
The total number of references cited is according to the norms of the journal (Short Communication – 20 references; Full Paper – 40 references; Review Article – 60 references.
Figures are of good quality and have 300 dpi resolution.
